“CrossFit is an intense exercise modality that demands a lot of its participants. Range of motion is critical to keep an athlete moving properly and performing the movements and lifts. If an athlete suffers from asymmetry due to hypo-mobility they are 33% more likely to injure themselves in a non-traumatic event like exercising.”

Rossiter is gaining momentum among CrossFit athletes and has proven to increase range of motion (ROM), agility, and address painful tissue. Rossiter is a must to keep the competitive edge, achieve higher goals and maintain a healthy body.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should I wear / bring?

Wear something comfortable, easy to move in, and made of cotton (less slick). Please bring a water bottle, make sure you have filled out your health history form on the confirmation email before you come in, and credit card or health savings accounts for payment.

What is a Rossiter session like?

A Rossiter Session takes about 25 minutes. Your first session, however, will be 40 minutes, which allows your practitioner to learn about your body and explain more about Rossiter. A practitioner will anchor key points in the connective tissues, then guide you through movements to get the most effective stretch. Rossiter is intense, but you are always in control of every movement and its intensity. Most people experience results immediately. The effects are longer lasting after each session.

How many sessions will I need and how often?

It differs greatly depending on the severity, time and your body. Most need 3-4 sessions, and then simply maintenance sessions afterwards.

Recent symptoms can see tremendous relief with one session a week until the body is back to normal.

Longer more complicated symptoms may take longer and require 2 or 3 visits per week for optimal, lasting results.

You can pay as you go for each session. You are always in charge of your Rossiter Program.

Can I do Rossiter with Chiropractic and other forms of bodywork?

Yes, absolutely!
In fact we highly encourage it, nothing is better than happy connective tissue and a happy spine!

However, new patients should not start multiple forms of bodywork at one time.

What are the benefits of Rossiter for athletes?

Athletes are constantly shortening their connective tissue. Contrary to popular belief, that rock hard figure some adore, isn’t so rock solid. All that rock hard muscle is tight, angry and capable of injury even during the smallest of tasks. Rossiter helps you rebalance symmetry in your body by restoring the natural function, and elasticity in your connective tissues keeping your body happy, healthy, and injury free.

My head hurts after a Rossiter session, is that normal?

Headaches after Rossiter are usually an indication that your body needs more water. Try to drink a tall glass of water, and maybe take a gentle walk. If you feel confident that you are drinking enough water, talk to your Rossiter coach at your next session. They may guide you through breathing exercises to make sure you aren’t overly tensing your muscles throughout your session.

Unused sessions rollover for three months. After three months of inactivity, unused sessions will expire.
